This desk lamp was designed for easy interaction with the use of a mercury switch hidden under the base of the lamp. The wood used for each part of the lamp is three, 3mm strips of New Zealand Rimu Timber, that have been curved through bent lamination. The pieces are held together with a 3D printed piece to support the lamp as it tilts forwards and backwards to turn the LED lights on and off. Cork pads are an added component to show the interaction of how the lamp is turned on and off.
